FM Architettura has designed the interior architecture of Benetti’s new 40-metre B.Neos — a yacht built around hybrid propulsion as standard, and a forward-thinking vision of life at sea defined by evolved simplicity, purposeful design, and silent cruising.
Developed in close collaboration with Malcolm McKeon Yacht Design and Benetti Yachts, the project translates technological innovation into a coherent interior vision shaped by clarity, fluidity, and contemporary restraint. Rather than emphasising spectacle, B.Neos 40M proposes a more human, personal model of onboard living — one shaped by calm, authenticity, and a deeper connection to people and nature.
“Hybrid propulsion is the core of B.Neos’ naval architecture, and it transforms more than performance; it reshapes the entire experience,” explains Francesca Muzio, founder and Creative Director of FM Architettura. “Reducing vibration and acoustic impact creates an atmosphere of stillness that informs the entire interior concept.”
Francesca and the design team at FM Architettura approached the project by aligning space, proportion, and materiality with this new condition of quiet. The interior design language is refined yet warm, characterised by natural finishes, tactile surfaces, and a restrained palette that supports longevity and emotional comfort. The result is an environment in which technology recedes into the background and experience becomes central.
