FM Architettura was tasked with reconciling two opposing imperatives: honouring the villa’s powerful historic character while adapting the interiors to reflect a contemporary family’s evolving lifestyle. Our approach created an architectural and interior tailored exclusively to them. Rather than imposing a unified contemporary aesthetic that might erase the villa’s historical narrative, the project employs strategic interventions that create dialogue between epochs.
